So, Who Am I?
Hey, everybody! If you're here, you probably already follow me somehow — whether it's on Instagram, Twitter, through my work at POPSUGAR or any of my past writing gigs, or maybe even in real life (hopefully not on the bus observing my every move.) But in case you don't, I figure I'll give a quick introduction. First things first: I'm Brinton!
I'm a writer by trade, which makes it feel silly that I'm also starting a personal blog; after all, I write all day at work. But as a journalist friend of mine once told me: writers write because we're overflowing with things to say, and lord help anybody who tries to stop us!
Some of the usual "about me" business: I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my fiancé and three adopted pets. Since they'll likely come up again, they are: Pickle, a bug-eyed dog; Winky, a one-eyed dog; and Jiji, a cross-eyed cat.
By day, I am Assistant Editor of Trending & Viral Features at POPSUGAR. It's a team I helped found at the company, and I'm immensely proud of my work! Because I write about anything and everything unfolding on the internet, my job is never boring.
In my free time, you'll usually find me eating, watching movies, exploring with my man, or planning our wedding. Sometimes — and preferably — more than one of those things at a time.
